Mazda 2 BBR Creates New Performance Packages for Mazda MX-5

Britain-based tuning company, BBR, has created new performance packages for the Mazda MX-5. With a new cold air intake, sport exhaust system, and ECU upgrades, the 2.0-liter engine under the hood of the MX-5 now delivers 190 brake horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque with the Super 190’ package. Other upgrades include a 1-inch suspension lowering kit and high-performance brake pads. If a buyer does not want to spend as much money on the ‘Super 190’ package, they can opt for the ‘Super 175+’ package. This increases the output of the 2.0-liter engine to 177 brake horsepower. If you a buyer has the 1.5-liter engine instead, they can purchase the ‘Super 160’ package to increase the power of the Mazda MX-5 to 158 brake horsepower.  Mazda 1 Roadkill Boys Enter a 1974 Mazda REPU

Roadkill is a video series that has rapidly grown into an internet sensation for car enthusiasts and gearheads. The latest episode had Cardinale Mazda very excited as the Roadkill boys, David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan, get behind the wheel of a 1974 Mazda REPU mini-truck. The previous owner did some Frankenstein-like modifications to this Mazda REPU. Instead of under the hood, the 1974 Mazda REPU has an Oldsmobile V-8 engine installed within the bed of the mini-truck. The REPU has also been transformed into a front-wheel-drive beast via an Oldsmobile Toronado axle. With some tinkering, the boys were ready to take on the Optima Street Car Challenge.
