Mazda Motorsport Returns for Lone Star Le Mans

Mazda Motorsport announced that it will return to full capacity this upcoming weekend at the Lone Star Le Mans at Circuit of the Americas. The Mazda team will be using two-diesel-powered prototypes for the penultimate round of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship season. Although the team was testing its gasoline-powered car recently, they decided to go without it at COTA laset week. They plan on continuing its development through the end of the year. Mazda Motorsports director John Doonan, said: “The team has made consistent improvements – especially with reliability – and have finished each race since Long Beach. Our testing program away from race weekends has been very productive, but we wanted to close out the season at full strength for COTA and at Petit Le Mans.” Cardinale Mazda is excited to see how the Mazda Motorsport team does this upcoming weekend.
