Mazda 2 Mazda MX-5 May Receive an All-Wheel Drive System in Future

There is a possibility that the Mazda MX-5 will be equipped with an all-wheel drive system in the future. The MX-5 is known for its rear-wheel drive system that offers a fun driving system, but Cardinale Mazda in Seaside can see why an AWD version is a good idea. One of the biggest obstacles the automaker would need to overcome is to be able to deliver a fun driving experience with the new drivetrain. The automaker was asked when it believes the AWD system will be developed and it could be within the next five years. A manager at Mazda stated, “We are working on new vehicles, obviously, and crossover vehicles have to be AWD, so that is something important.” We will keep you updated with any additional information that surfaces.
