Mazda recently unveiled that next sports car concept at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show earlier this week and it is exactly what we expected from the Japanese automaker. A new two-seater roadster will feature a rotary engine under the hood – confirming many of this year’s earlier speculations. Although the Mazda RX-8 was discontinued in 2012, fans have been pushing for a replacement ever since – and they finally got one. In an interview, a few months ago, Mazda CEO, Masamichi Kogai, confirmed that the Japanese automaker had dedicated a team to work on the development of rotary engines.
