The most-talked about Subcompact model right now is the Mazda CX-3; the Mazda subcompact is competing against the Jeep Renegade, Chevrolet Trax, Honda HR-V and Mazda CX-3. Mark Rechtin, Cars Editor said: “These subcompact SUVs are built on the same platform as cheap, small hatchbacks. That’s great for keeping the price down, but it also can hurt performance.”
