Continental Tire and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca officials have finally reached an agreement. Continental Tire will maintain its title sponsorship of the Continental Tire Monterey Grand Prix. The race is part of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The partnership began in 2011 when Continental Tire was the title sponsor of the GRAND-AM Road Racing event. The partnership continued even when the GRAND-AM merged with the American Le Mans Series in 2014. Director of marketing for Continental Tire Travis Roffler stated, “We’re proud to continue our partnership with Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.” Cardinale Mazda is excited for the Grand Prix at Laguna Seca starting April 29.
