Mazda has revealed that there has been a large number of interested buyers for the all-new Mazda CX-3 compact SUV; in fact, Mazda Australia’s local Marketing Director revealed that the level of buyer interest in the new Mazda CX-3 is about five times higher than the revamped Mazda2. “We’ve got 20,000 hand-raisers for the car, people that are saying ‘keep me informed about it’ and we have over 500 who want us to speak to them when it goes on sale.” The new Mazda CX-3 model is on track to potentially steal the spotlight from its sibling, the Mazda CX-5 – which is known as one of the world’s bestselling SUVs last year. “I don’t see it impacting sales of CX-5 very much. The research on CX-3 showed that the people who buy CX-5 are in that time of their life where they’ve got young kids or a pram in the back and baby seat.
