Mazda Gives Back To Communities With Its Drive For Good Program

Mazda 2 Kyle Kimball’s Role in Mazda Motorsports

Each year, Mazda likes to find great ways to give back to the community. This year, Mazda is going all out in their largest in-kind vehicle contribution that supports the Annual Disaster Giving Program. Sixteen brand new vehicles will be shipped to the Red Cross, who Mazda has had a long standing partnership with, in order to aid those affected by recent flooding in the south. Mazda will continue to provide support in its loyal communities that have helped make the brand the success that it is each and every year.

In the locations that were affected by the terrible flooding due to heavy rainstorms and hurricanes, the Red Cross is in need of vehicles that can carry both support workers and the emergency supplies that these people require. The entire #MazdaCX lineup is perfectly suited for this task, and the 2017 models are ideal for transporting people without compromising cargo space. The Mazda CX-5 and CX-9 are also readily capable of towing any small trailers or backup generators that the hardworking volunteers may require.

This history of giving back is part of the Mazda Drive for Good Program, and Mazda was the first automaker to join the American Red Cross Annual Disaster Giving Program. Last year Mazda even became a $1-million donation member, the only manufacturer to reach this tier. People do business with Mazda every day, and by reaching out to communities Mazda is doing its part to help support its supporters.

The kindness and help that Mazda shares through its charity program is an example of how you can expect to be treated when you are at Cardinale Mazda: like family. Come visit our friendly staff for a test drive or check us out on the web at www.cardinalemazda.com.
