Mazda’s all new sedan has been awarded the prestigious ‘Car of the Year’ accolade by Popular Mechanics. The Mazda6 won this award because of its ability to deliver 40 miles per gallon on the highway and its responsive handling. Furthermore, the magazine editors noted that the Mazda6 has safety technology available and liked the adaptive cruise control option – they also mentioned the blind spot monitoring and forward collision warning. “The Mazda6 is wrapped in sheet metal with curves that would make a Maserati jealous” said one of their editors.
