Mazda decided to showcase its MX-5 Speedster Concept at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show. The design of the concept car still amazes Cardinale Mazda. Multiple modifications were made to reduce the weight of the concept car by over 250 pounds. One of the more interested weight saving methods was to strip the vehicle of its windshield. Additional weight reduction modifications were carbon fiber doors, Extreme Gram Lights alloy wheels, synthetic interior trim, and carbon fiber seats. Other upgrades include an adjustable coilover suspension and Brembo four-piston calipers. The MX-5 Speedster Concept is an eye-catching concept car that would offer a unique and fun driving experience.
