Spy shots of an undisguised Mazda Koeru concept in China have surfaced. There are not many differences from the design of the concept to that of the production version. The only changes are the taillights and a front end that takes on more of the KODO design language. The production version will either be badged the CX-4 or CX-6. The Mazda Koeru concept will be built on the same platform as the Mazda CX-5, as well as feature the same engines. A 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine will generate an output of 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque. The other engine will be a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 184 horsepower. Buyers will be able to choose between a six-speed automatic or manual transmission. Mazda has not announced the official debut of the production version Mazda Koeru concept, so Cardinale Mazda will let you know of any word that comes from the automaker.
