2015 Mazda3 Gains a Manual Transmission for 2.5L Engine Mazda has delivered something for all those who have been eagerly awaiting the Mazdaspeed 3 model that has been rumored to be in the works – rolling out the next big thing in the 2015 Mazda3 lineup is a six-speed manual transmission with the 3’s larger 2.5-liter engine. This transmission will be available on both the sedan and hatchback model versions. Additionally, the 2015 Mazda3 will feature an upgraded Mazda Connect infotainment system which features a 7 inch touchscreen on all Mazda3 models.
