Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) recently reported that the first of five annual signature club racing events has kicked off with a boom! The National Auto Sport Association 2015 Western States Championship will be held at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca – where 74 Mazda Miata entries, across multiple classes, will have an opportunity to shine. This past weekend, 33 Spec Miatas made it onto the track, and veteran, Mark Drennan won the whole thing. “It doesn’t get much better for us than to see Mazda racers win at our home track,” noted John Doonan, Director of Motorsports for Mazda North American Operations.  “Our congratulations to championship race winners Joshua Allan, Ben Anderson, Mark Drennan, and Jon Van Canegham. We appreciate all of the great Mazda racers who competed.  We truly have an amazing family of racers.”
