Mazda Plans to Increase Brand Loyalty Rating

Mazda Motor Corp. is hopeful that quick makeovers and the addition of a compact crossover will increase the brand’s loyalty rating. The Japanese automaker has steadily improved in recent years; in fact, brand loyalty has risen to about 37% this year. Jim O’Sullivan, CEO of Mazda North American Operations, said: “What we want to try to get to is more of an industry average. We’re on a good trajectory for that.” Brand loyalty is important for Mazda, which is why the brand is refreshing the Mazda CX-5 and Mazda6 sedan later this year.
