Mazda recently announced that its cumulative production of the Mazda CX-5 has officially surpassed one million units. In fact, this milestone was reached at the end of April 2015 and took only three years and five months since production began to achieve. The Mazda CX-5 is the second fastest Mazda model to reach the one-million-unit mark, after the Mazda3. The Mazda CX-5 was first launched into the growing global crossover SUV market in February 2012 and since then has won more than 60 different accolades around the world.
