Mazda once again stirred up the sporting world with its coveted “triple crown” title win in the 24 hours of Le Mans race in 1991 with a rotary engine powered car. After its disastrous debut in 1973 and many defeats in the interim period, no one had thought Mazda to be capable of winning the intense endurance testing race. But again perseverance paid off and to date, it is the only Asian automaker with such a distinction.

The Mazda Miata MX-5 provides a sensible choice in the hyper-competitive world of sports coupes where horsepower and hard suspensions are the buzzwords.
