Mazda City – Three Years after Tsunami

After a terrible Tsunami hit Japan just over three years ago, Japan’s automobile industry is expanding once again – and the automotive market has come back more powerful than ever. After the tsunami hit, the local Mazda dealerships scrambled to find what remained after the tsunami washed away a couple Mazda stores. For Eishi Kuramoto, this meant two of his dalerships were completely gone after the earthquake-tsunami. This horrific catastrophe ended the lives of 18,000 people and has left the people of Japan in search for the lifestyle they once had. Kuramoto has brought light to the situation and plans to make the best of it – he has developed a new shop, next to the one that once exisited, almost four times bigger. “We’ve presently recovered from the quake and are growing past that – investing in the new shop and getting ready for its opening was the hardest component” said Kuramoto.
