In the latest round of EuroNCAP crash testing, the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata received a four-star rating. Despite earning a high score, the Miata earned a strong 93% for pedestrian impacts. In a recent report, published by the EuroNCAP, they said: “The Mazda MX-5 achieved a four star rating, as did its competitor Audi TT tested earlier this year. The Mazda combined good all-round performance in crash tests with exceptional pedestrian protection thanks to the deployable bonnet fitted as standard.”
