Next Mazda2 NEW SKYACTIV-D 1.5 Clean Diesel Engine Mazda Motors revealed in a press release that the all-new Mazda2 will feature Mazda’s SKYACTIV-D 1.5 engine. The SKYACTIV-D 1.5, is a recently developed 1.5 liter clean-diesel engine paired with the next generation SKYACTIV technology. The all-new Mazda2 equipped with this new technology will first be introduced in Japan, and therefore meets the Japanese Long-term Emission Regulations as a diesel-powered compact car.
