The SKYACTIV-G is a new generation highly-efficient direct injection gasoline engine that achieves the world’s highest gasoline engine compression ration of 14.0:1. It is the world’s first gasoline engine for mass production vehicles to achieve a high compression ratio of 14.0:1; it also significantly improves engine efficiency due to the high compression combustion, which results in 15% increase in fuel efficiency and torque. Furthermore, you can expect an improved everyday driving experience thanks to increase torque at low-to-mid engine speeds.
