Mazdaspeed3 Coming in 2016 Since the redesigned 2014 Mazda3 debuted, there have been many speculations regarding a Mazdaspeed version of the hatchback model. Although the Japanese automaker has not released any details regarding this new model, Automotive News claims that the vehicle will arrive in 2016 with a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine ready to deliver just over 300 HP. Additionally, they claim that the Mazdaspeed3 will feature all-wheel drive to compete with the Subaru WRX STI. Additionally, Automotive News revealed that the turbocharged 2.5-liter engine will feature the famous SKYACTIV technology.
